Registered chess clubs in Tel Aviv and Gush Dan 19

Every club on this page is on the Israel Chess Federation register, which gives each one an address and a page listing the tournaments it runs. Few of them say more than that: no club here publishes a weekly timetable, a membership fee or an open evening, so a club is known by its rounds. The Tel Aviv municipal club at the Sol and Sisi Mark Center in Ramat Aviv plays an autumn Tuesday series in two groups; Maccabi Etude meets at Beit Lazarus in Ramat Gan for rounds in three groups.

The Petah Tikva club plays rapid on Fridays, Herzliya holds open Thursday rounds at the Meteor community centre, Rishon LeZion runs Friday leagues on Ben Gurion Boulevard and Kfar Saba keeps rating-improvement groups from Sunday to Thursday. Kiryat Ono, Bat Yam, Ra'anana, Givat Shmuel and Savyon have active clubs too. Clubs in Givatayim, Holon, Hod HaSharon and a few others show no tournament on their register page, so their cards stay unconfirmed until a dated event appears.
